Colerain traveled to Harrison.

The Cardinals played a precision game today, executing playable passes, multiple runs, and great communication. With 43 seconds left in the first half Eric Moormann setup a corner kick, serving up a well placed ball right to Joe Flohr, who was able to head it in. Harrison's defense did a good job of not letting the Cardinals stay close to their goal, clearing the ball any way they could, mostly by kicking it out of bounds. This set up multiple scoring opportunities for the Cardinals. Colerain used Drew Hoffman's ability to throw the ball in from the sideline to the middle of Harrison's goal, giving the offense multiple chances to score. The game ended with Colerain winning 1-0.

Varsity

There was a lot of back and forth in this game. Colerain had the ball in and around Harrison's goal box quite a few times in the first half, but it seemed if the Cardinals where trying to do too much with it, instead of taking the shots they were looking for passes. Harrison did do a good job of containing the Cardinal offense, forcing them to one side or the other. The first half ended 0-0. As the night started to creep in, the grass started to become wet and slippery, creating some footing problems for both teams. Colerain was able to put together a nice attack. Chris McAfee making a nice run from Colerain's backfield, received the ball at about the Harrison 25 yard line on the right side of the field about 5 yards in from the sideline, Chris mad a nice pass to Mike Davidson, who was running in from the left side of the field, leading him just enough that Mike was able to control the ball and take a hard shot into the net. The game ended with Colerain winning 1-0.
