Colerain versus Elder at the Pit Week 2: Confirmed.

Al Gabriel
WeAreColerain.com

WeAreColerain.com confirmed with head coach Tom Bolden that the Colerain Cardinals and Elder Panthers, long time west side playoff rivals, have agreed to and signed a home and home contract beginning this season. Colerain will make its first ever appearance at the famed "Pit" tentatively on September 6th at noon. However, that day and time is not set in stone as a rumored third party, ESPN, has not finalized things on its end. If ESPN were to not be involved, Colerain would make its Pit debut on Friday night September 4th instead.

Elder will return to The Cage 1n 2010 for the first time since suffering a 38-3 defeat at the hands of the eventual state champion Cardinals in the first round of the 2004 playoffs. Elder dashed Colerain's hopes of an D1 Region 4 title last November with a thrilling 27-20 victory at UC's Nippert Stadium.
