The St. Xavier Bombers shut out the Colerain Cardinals on Friday night behind Connor Hundley's 161 yards rushing and two TD's, 16-0. The loss was the second season opening loss for Colerain to coach Steve Specht's Bombers in the last five years and both losses were by shutout. Colerain was held to 200 yards of total offense by the impressive X defense and were lead by Sr. QB Greg Tabar's 89 yards on the ground.
The road from here does not get any easier for Colerain as Ohio Division 1 State Runner-up Elder will be the Cardinals next opponent. The Panthers open up the season tonight versus East St. Louis High School.

Video clips from the game will be available for viewing later today.
