Colerain product and mom have reason to smile

"She didn't mind being asked about how the severity of the injury compared with its timing before football season. That's because she is so happy he is going to be fine."He had surgery five days ago and he is a brand-new kid today," she said. "I would never know he had surgery five days ago, except that he's wearing a path in my stairway. He's not happy to be still. He is good in every way."

For those of you that don't know, former Colerain LB Tyler Moeller (Ohio 2005 Division I Defensive Player of the Year) was seriously injured during a family vacation to Florida in July. Unfortunately, the injury is going to cost him his JR season at Ohio State. Fortunately, both he and his family are well-grounded enough to realize that football is secondary to Tyler's health.

The WeAreColerain.com crew would like to extend our most heartfelt well-wishes to Tyler as he recovers from this horribly senseless act of cowardice. God-willing, we will all get to see Tyler take the field in 2010 for the Scarlet and Gray.

We Are...Colerain!
